Listen to PhD students giving talks about their projects and why they chose to go on to further research.

Guest lecturers from the industry will be invited to hold seminars.

More info will follow on dates and scheduled events. First session is next week Wednesday :)

Any questions, just approach any of the committee members. The College provides its students with great career advice on the 1st floor of the Macadam Building and the Division of Engineering Careers Services Liasion Office is found in Room 104, Strand Bulding (Dr. Chris Lorentz).

Hopefully you have heard about this already. The big phat Careers Fair is on this week bringing you loads of companies looking for student to recruit and freebies to hand out.

KCLEA Annual Lecture - David Watling: From Star Wars to Sterilisation. A Career in Engineering 1962 to 2008.

The man who was asked by George Lucas' sidekick to build R2D2 based on sketches is coming to speak on our campus about his career all thanks to the KCLEA. A few years ago he was responsible for building a steriliser against the SARS bug. The US government has also used his products against anthrax attacks (source). And of course, Mr. Watling studied Engineering at King's.

UKSEDS Conference 2009

UK Students for the Exploration and Development of Space, UKSEDS, is an organisation that provides a link between university students and the space industry.

The 2009 conference will be held in Surrey on November 7th.
